About The Opportunity
We are hiring a revenue-focused Head of Business Development to define and execute go-to-market strategies that scale volume, margin and distribution footprint across key regions. The role sits at the intersection of sales, trade marketing and supply chain and requires a hands-on leader who can own P&L outcomes, negotiate major accounts and build high-performing field teams.Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute GTM and channel strategies (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, distributor networks) to deliver sales and margin targets.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales organisation and distributor ecosystem—hire, coach, set targets and enforce accountability.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with key national and regional accounts; secure favorable commercial terms and partnership agreements.
- Own trade promotion planning, pricing, assortment and in-store execution to maximize velocity and retail availability.
- Manage P&L, sales forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting; translate market signals into commercial actions.
- Partner with marketing, supply chain and R&D to launch new SKUs, improve shelf presence and close the market feedback loop.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven track record in FMCG sales or business development with responsibility for channel expansion and revenue delivery.
- Demonstrated expertise in Key Account Management and Modern Trade Management.
- Strong experience in Distributor Management and Route-to-Market Strategy.
- Hands-on P&L Management and Sales Forecasting experience with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Experience designing and executing Trade Promotion Management and retail merchandising plans.
Preferred
- Exposure to CRM / ERP tools such as Salesforce or SAP for sales operations.
- Experience with market measurement platforms (Nielsen / IRI) or e-commerce marketplace partnerships.
- Prior experience leading regional or national sales teams in a fast-growth FMCG environment.
