Job Description

1. Pricing & Quotations

  • Provide accurate pricing based on customer inquiries by understanding application, volume, and other relevant parameters.
  • Share monthly price updates with customers and gather insights on their projections.
  • Circulate updated price lists to internal teams on a regular basis.

2. Sales Conversion & Customer Follow-ups

  • Proactively follow up on leads and enquiries to convert them into orders, ensuring negotiations are managed effectively.
  • Track and obtain feedback on product samples. If approved, push for trial orders; if not, gather customers standards, methods, and required data to propose suitable alternatives.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and pending customer responses.

3. Account Revival & Growth

  • Identify and reactivate inactive, stopped, or frozen customer accounts.
  • Rebuild relationships and reinstate business with dormant clients.

4. Product Portfolio Expansion

  • Promote the addition of new pigments and related products to expand customers’ basket.

5. Customer Engagement

  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Address customer queries and coordinate customized solutions as required.

6. Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with factory operations and technical teams to:
    • Streamline dispatch of pending orders, technical documents, and COA.
    • Stay updated on new product developments and ensure timely follow-up on test reports and results.
    • Resolve product-related complaints efficiently.

7. Marketing & Exhibitions

  • Take charge of exhibition material, ensuring timely preparation and availability for events.

8. Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare domestic sales reports for internal review and evaluation.
  • Maintain and regularly update customer data in Salesforce (formerly Google Sheets) for customer mapping and analysis.

9. Tender Participation

  • Submit relevant tender applications on time, ensuring all required documentation is complete and shared with concerned stakeholders.
