Role & responsibilities The Business Development professional will be responsible for driving B2B sales, establishing strategic partnerships, managing product lifecycle activities, and scaling the organizations market presence. The role requires strong techno-commercial understanding, project coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. Preferred candidate profile Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Identify, generate, and convert B2B leads across domestic and international markets. Conduct market mapping to identify high-potential business opportunities. Pitch CMO/CDMO services and manage onboarding of new clients. Build and manage long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners. Participate in trade fairs/expos and networking platforms to expand business reach. Contracting & Commercial Execution Support negotiation and closure of B2B manufacturing contracts. Prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost sheets. Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with profitability targets. Facilitate out-licensing/in-licensing discussions when applicable. Marketing, Sales & Branding Assist in brand positioning and product identity development. Participate in product naming exercises and conduct trademark availability checks. Support creation of marketing collateralspitch decks, brochures, creatives. Assist in social media & LinkedIn campaigns for B2B visibility and engagement. Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with internal teams—R&D, SCM, QA/QC, RA—for project feasibility and execution. Coordinate with production teams for batch approvals and timely scale-up. Conduct cross-team reviews to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
