Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

    Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating qualified leads to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with business objectives.
  • Target Achievement:

    Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets established for the business development unit.
  • Client Engagement & Solutions:

    Understand client business requirements deeply and offer tailored workforce solutions. This includes creating and conducting compelling proposal presentations and managing complex RFP (Request for Proposal) responses.
  • Vertical Focus:

    Drive workforce solution sales with a minimum of 1 year of experience in target sectors such as

    Staffing, Pharma, Lifesciences, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Retail.

  • Internal Collaboration:

    Collaborate closely with the delivery team to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of client requirements, bridging the gap between sales promises and operational execution.
  • Reporting & Analytics:

    Prepare various MIS (Management Information System) reports capturing business development initiatives, pipeline health, and progress against targets for senior management review.
  • Travel Requirement:

    Maintain a

    willingness to travel at short notice

    for critical client meetings and relationship-building activities.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly persuasive individual with a proven track record in solutions-based sales within the services sector.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:

    A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. An

    MBA

    is considered a significant plus.
  • Sales Acumen:

    Proven ability to meet and consistently exceed assigned sales targets. Experience of

    1 to 5 years

    with at least one year focused on workforce solutions/staffing sales.
  • Communication Mastery:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client pitching, proposal writing, and maintaining professional correspondence.
  • Soft Skills:

    Must possess strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively and excellent interpersonal skills to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Domain Focus:

    Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the sales cycle and buyer persona within the specified industry verticals (Staffing, Pharma, Manufacturing, etc.).
