We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth, partnerships, and student engagement. The role involves building strong relationships with school management, handling student counselling, generating leads, and ensuring sales conversions. This position requires a persuasive, self-motivated professional with strong connections in the education and edtech ecosystem.
Conduct regular visits to schools and meet principals, management, and key decision-makers.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with school administrators.
Leverage existing contacts in the education/edtech sector to expand outreach.
Plan and execute school engagement activities, workshops, and presentations.
Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for school onboarding and student participation.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report progress to management.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of examinations and events.
Manage multiple tasks, including client acquisition, relationship management, and on-ground execution.
Graduate in any field (MBA preferred).
2–4 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / Counselling in the educational industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Target-oriented, self-driven, and proactive.
Prior exposure to the education or edtech industry is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualities: Prior experience working with schools on Olympiads, competitions, or edtech products.
Established relationships with principals, trustees, and school decision-makers.
