To identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) segment, driving revenue growth and strategic customer relationships, while aligning with the company’s quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
o Identify new business opportunities in EMS, including OEMs, IoT companies, automotive electronics, and other relevant sectors.
o Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
o Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential customers.
o Establish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
o Present the company’s EMS capabilities, including SMT, testing, integration, and packaging services.
o Serve as the single point of contact for strategic customers from enquiry to order closure.
o Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to prepare competitive proposals and quotations.
o Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service-level agreements ensuring alignment with company policies.
o Ensure proposals are compliant with IPC standards, ISO/IATF requirements, and customer specifications.
o Ensure customers’ technical and quality requirements are clearly communicated to internal teams.
o Monitor initial batches and feedback to ensure delivery and quality expectations are met.
Key Skills & Competencies:
· Strong understanding of EMS processes: SMT, Through-hole assembly, testing, integration, and packaging.
· Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-A-610, RoHS/REACH compliance.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts.
· Analytical skills for market research and business forecasting.
· Willing to travel to customer locations to coordinate project discussions, gather technical and process requirements, and support in securing work orders through on-ground interaction and follow-up.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical
· Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in business development or sales within EMS / Electronics Manufacturing industry.
· Proven track record of achieving revenue and margin targets.
