Job Title: Business Development Executive (IT Sector)
Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 1–4 years About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our technology-driven solutions and services (such as Cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, Software Development, Web & Mobile Applications). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, understands IT services, and enjoys building long-term partnerships with clients across industries. Key Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities in the IT domain (Cloud, Software Development, AI/ML, DevOps, Cybersecurity, etc.). Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Present company services and solutions effectively through proposals, emails, presentations, and online meetings. Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to create tailored proposals and pitches. Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure. Maintain CRM records and track sales performance against targets. Represent the company in online/offline events, client meetings, and technology expos. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and strategic feedback to management. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field. 1–4 years of experience in IT Sale Business Development, or Pre-Sales (preferred). Strong understanding of IT services — such as Software Development, Cloud Solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, or AI/ML. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using CRM tools, LinkedIn, business portals and email marketing platforms. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Skills: Prior experience in selling SaaS or IT consulting services. Knowledge of international markets (US, UK, Middle East, or APAC). Experience in lead generation through platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, etc. Familiarity with proposal writing and RFP processes.
