Business Development Executive (Sr. and Jr.): Lead Generation: β Develop sales opportunities by researching(through lead generating platforms) and identifying potential accounts. β Identifying TG (Target Group/Audience) and Market Trends β Strong communication and lobbying skills to network with people and maximize presence. β Attend conferences and represent products at a larger scale to enhance domain specific community reach. Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events. β Maintain and expand the companyβs database of prospects. Building Lasting Relationships: β Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead. β Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position. β Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process. β Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches β Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members β Ensure follow up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc. β Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions β Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients. Conversion: β Make outbound follow up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross sell and up-sell. β Overcome objections of prospective customers. β Handle all inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales. β Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports. β Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database. β Attend periodic sales training where applicable. Qualifications: β 2-8 Years Experience is Business Development in a product IT firm. β Strong communication and interpersonal skills. β Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
