To further the growth in the state of Tamil Nadu, Dale Carnegie Tamil Nadu is looking for candidates in Business Development roles who have a passion to sell and are adept with consultative selling. The candidate is expected to promote and sell the Training and Development services of Dale Carnegie to the corporate and academic institutions, using consultative selling.


Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

  • PGD / Master’s (Desired)
  • Additional Certifications in Sales / Training & Development / HR Training / Project Management etc. will be a plus.



Experience

3-5 years of experience in sales of:

  • Service/product solutions to large enterprise clients across industry sectors.
  • HR/OD/staffing solutions to large enterprise clients across industry sectors.
  • Selling Vocational skilling solutions to clients in the CSR ecosystem



CTC Offered

INR 6-8 Lakhs (including 20% sales achievement based variables)

Job Overview

The core job involves field and remote working to connect, network and meet prospective and existing clients and customers to promote the training and development services of Dale Carnegie.

  • Build order book - Exceed monthly order book targets (Achieve Billing Targets)
  • Cold-calling (both on phone and in-person) and appointment-based meetings (both virtual and in-person) with the target audience (senior management in client organization i.e., CEO, MD, HR head, L&D head and Functional heads etc.).
  • Create a prospects’ list – sales funnel using the meeting with clients. Maintain an active list of 50 clients at all times.
  • Account mapping and identify decision makers.
  • Identify engagement opportunities across the client business.
  • Be able to assess and understand customer needs and create/propose customized solutions through and effectively articulated value proposition statement enabling customer's business improvement.
  • Create and present compelling presentations on the customized learning solution as per the problem statement defined by the client.
  • Conduct multiple negotiations with the client ensuring contracting.
  • Working close with delivery team for a seamless execution of training programs
  • Customer Relationship Management - Build and grow long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
  • Network in the account and seek referrals to add new clients to the order book.
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting in the prescribed formats.



Requirements & Skills

  • Knowledge and experience of

    solution selling

    ,

    concept sales, new client acquisition, account management, cross selling, and upselling.

  • Proven track record of handling sales quota, meeting and exceeding targets consistently.
  • Must possess strong negotiation skills and ability to establish relationships and network effectively.
  • Must be presentable and must have excellent communication skills. Fluency in spoken English and Tamil is essential.
  • Should have the ability to collaborate with internal teams to create propositions and service the client seamlessly.
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in office software, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Quantitative Skills (Ability to read, analyze and interpret data)
