We specialize in handcrafted metal, glass, and mixed-material décor products that combine luxury and modern design sensibilities. Our products are supplied to premium global retailers, buying houses, and design studios.

Role Overview

Business Development professionals

The candidate should be capable of building long-term relationships with international buyers, domestic retail clients, and buying houses while identifying new growth opportunities for the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in

    international and domestic décor markets

    .
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with

    buying houses, importers, interior brands, retail chains, and distributors

    .
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by understanding their product needs and seasonal trends.
  • Coordinate with the

    design and production teams

    for sampling, pricing, and timely delivery.
  • Represent Curio Crafts in

    trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meetings

    (both domestic & international).
  • Track market trends, competitor products, and global décor forecasts to provide insights for business planning.
  • Drive

    sales targets

    , negotiate contracts, and close deals with a customer-first approach.
  • Support marketing and catalogue initiatives by aligning business development with product launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in

    exports or domestic business development

    within the

    home décor / handicrafts / furniture / lifestyle

    sector.
  • Strong existing

    network with buying houses, exporters, or international buyers

    .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand design trends, materials, and product categories in home décor.
  • Proactive and target-oriented with a go-getter attitude.
  • Comfortable with travel (domestic and international).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Prior experience in dealing with markets like the

    US, Europe, and the Middle East

    is a plus.
  • Knowledge of

    B2B platforms (Alibaba, TradeIndia, Etsy Wholesale, etc.)

    will be an advantage.
