Job Description: Business Development Executive (BDE) Position Overview The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role requires strong communication, market research, sales closing skills, and the ability to execute business expansion strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients through field visits, cold calling, networking, and online platforms. Create and maintain a qualified lead pipeline. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. 2. Client Acquisition Visit client locations to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions. Prepare and deliver sales pitches, presentations, and proposals. Convert leads into confirmed customers through effective negotiation and follow-ups. 3. Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and support. Build long-term partnerships with corporate, residential, and commercial clients. 4. Sales Execution Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets. Coordinate with internal teams (operations, service, admin) to ensure timely service delivery. Maintain accurate sales reports, client data, and follow-up trackers. 5. Market & Competitor Analysis Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand. Provide insights to management for strategic planning. Required Skills Strong communication & interpersonal skills Field sales experience is preferred Negotiation & closing skills Customer relationship management Time management & self-motivation Basic computer skills (MS Excel, CRM, email) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not mandatory) 0–3 years of experience in sales / business development Two-wheeler with valid driving license (if field sales role) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of leads generated Conversion rate Revenue achieved vs. target Client retention and satisfaction Timeliness of reporting and follow-ups
