Business Development Consultant

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development professional to spearhead Autodesk product sales with a special focus on PSU (Public Sector Undertakings) and government clients. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in enterprise software/CAD/BIM solutions sales, excellent relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of procurement processes in public sector entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and target key PSUs, government departments, and allied sectors for Autodesk solutions (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Drive end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation, client meetings, product presentations to closing deals.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement heads, and IT departments in PSUs.
• Respond to RFPs/RFQs, coordinate with internal teams for proposals and documentation.
• Collaborate with Autodesk channel/distributor partners to ensure deal closure and compliance.
• Stay updated on tender opportunities and government procurement platforms like GeM, CPPP, etc.
• Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and workshops tailored to PSU requirements.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales forecasts and reporting to management.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably selling Autodesk or CAD/BIM products.
• Prior experience dealing with PSUs or government agencies is

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong technical understanding of Autodesk products and their industry applications.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with platforms like GeM, E-procurement portals.
• Autodesk certification or technical know-how is an added advantage.
• Existing network within PSUs or government bodies will be a plus.
