About the Role

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Sales & Market Development

• Identify and acquire new clients, distributors, wholesalers, and retail chains.
• Develop and execute

  go-to-market strategies

  for new imported products.

🔹 Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with

  buyers, importers, and institutional clients

  .
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.

🔹 Import & Trade Compliance

• Stay updated on

  import policies, FSSAI regulations, and customs duties

  .

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Agriculture, or Food Technology

  .

• MBA/PGDM preferred

  (International Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain).

Experience

• 5–10 years of experience

  in

  Food Imports, Agri Commodities, FMCG, or International Trade

  .
• Proven track record in

  B2B sales & business development

  .
• Experience working with

  importers, distributors, or modern trade channels

  in India.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of

  Indian food import regulations, FSSAI compliance, and customs processes

  .
• Excellent

  sales, negotiation, and networking skills

  .
• Ability to analyze

  import/export trade data

  (DGFT, APEDA, ITC HS codes).
• Proficiency in

  CRM tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting

  .
• Fluent in

  English & Hindi

  (regional languages are a plus).
