Business Consultant


Experience & Skills:

B2B Consultative Sales in Data or AI Domain:

  • Proven 6-12 years of experience in

    B2B sales of technology services and solutions.

  • Good understanding of

    data platforms and/or AI/ML solutions/services

    , and/or

    cloud-based analytics products

    e.g., Dataiku, Denodo, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/AWS AI tools.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

  • Experience in

    building and managing a sales pipeline

    through outreach (email/LinkedIn), nurturing inbound leads, and working closely with marketing and inside sales.

APAC/USA Market Understanding:

  • Track record of selling into

    APAC/USA markets

    (remote sales model), with strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles in BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing, or Healthcare domains.

Consultative & Solution Selling:

  • Ability to perform

    discovery workshops

    to understand prospects’ needs, challenges and expectations, build

    solution-oriented pitches, perform client demos

    and drive

    consultative sales

    to achieve business outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Comfortable engaging with

    CXO-level clients

    , procurement teams and technology buyers. Ability to present and negotiate effective
  • Ability to work with ambiguity with limited resources i.e. exposure to startup or high-growth consulting environments.

Educational Background:

Desired but not mandatory:

  • Experience in

    partner-led sales

    (e.g., AWS, Azure, Dataiku, Snowflake)
  • Exposure to financial services and insurance industries.


Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a go-to-market strategy for SCIENTE offerings and work towards achieving measurable revenue KPIs.
  • Drive new customer acquisition for Data & AI solutions in assigned geographies.
  • Understand customer needs and propose relevant

    services and solutions

    .
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, create proposals, and lead solutioning with pre-sales/tech teams.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, manage forecasting, and achieve quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with on-site management executives, off-shore delivery, marketing, and leadership teams to achieve the desired business outcome.
  • Track market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback to refine offerings.
