Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Business & Process Consulting

  • Work with business and functional leaders to identify opportunities for digital enablement.
  • Map current processes in shipping/logistics functions and propose IT-led improvements.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and build business cases for technology interventions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with MOLs global DX roadmap.

Data & Insights

  • Define business data requirements and ensure effective data flow between systems.
  • Partner with analytics teams to design data models, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making frameworks.

Solution Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure solution fit and scalability.
  • Support project management activities, testing, and user training.

Domain & Digital Collaboration

  • Apply knowledge of maritime IT systems (e.g., voyage, chartering, crewing, cargo systems).
  • Awareness of Maritime OT environments will be a plus.
  • Work closely with DXCU to design and co-create digital solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and progress reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 7–12

    years of experience in IT Consulting / Business Transformation.
  • Prior exposure to

    Shipping, Maritime, or Logistics IT environments

    .
  • Hands-on experience in

    data analysis

    IT-enabled change

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Proficiency in business process mapping and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Maritime-specific).
  • Familiarity with BI / Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and solution lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
