The team is responsible for the research of specific datasets and ensures its accuracy before being used in the maintenance of Indices under ISS STOXX Index man . The successful candi will liaise with ISS STOXX Index Operations for day-to-day Index Data Research activities. The successful candi will also work in close collaboration with various ISS STOXX stakeholders to ensure best practice and compliance with Index Operations Department activities, new rules definition based on clients requirements and coordination of the automation processes with the IT department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Should be aware of the data pointers like Shares and FF research, Dividend research, Foreign Ownership Limit research, Withholding Tax research and Suspension research

Understand the overall business structure of the company - verify the ownership structure of various shareholders and make sure correct block/unblock rules are applied.

Basic understanding of Corporate Actions including Stock Dividend, Stock Splits, Cash Dividend and Rights offering etc.

Performing detailed analysis on any new data set onboardings and finalizing the vendors

Having a good understanding of data vendor terminals like Thomson Reuters, FactSet, Bloomberg and EDI

Displays a positive attitude towards work and understand the criticality of our business. Basic knowledge on the equity asset class will be an advantage

Education and Experience:

Master s degree from a reputed institute with 2-3 years of primary and secondary research experience.

Experience in the financial research domain and understanding of Indexing industry would be preferred

Experience in SQL and Python is a must.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
