Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst - ESG

Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will be part of the ESG Assurance Practice, supporting end-to-end ESG assurance engagements. The role involves preparing templates, collecting and analyzing ESG data, understanding client processes, performing assurance procedures, and contributing to high-quality reports. As ESG standards and regulations continue to evolve, this role requires strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

1. ESG Assurance

• Engage with client teams to understand their ESG data structures, frameworks, and internal controls.
• Develop structured data collection formats for ESG KPIs.
• Coordinate with multiple client departments for data collection and tracking of ESG KPIs.
• Conduct verification procedures such as

  vouching, sampling, reconciliations, and analytical reviews

• Perform assurance procedures to support final assurance conclusions.
• Prepare

  ESG assurance documentation

  , including working papers and final deliverables.

2. Process Design Optimization

• Design information flows and data templates aligned with reporting and assurance standards.
• Maintain a repository of standard templates, client ESG datasets, and related documentation for scalable delivery.
• Conduct

Candidate Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in

  Audit Assurance

  ,

  ESG

  , or

  Sustainability Reporting

  .
• Prior experience in

  ESG Assurance

  is preferred.

• CA / ACCA / bachelor s degree in Sustainability or related field / MBA (Tier-1)

  .
• Working knowledge of

  ESG Standards

• Strong
