Technical Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to validate solution design and requirements.
• Support data dictionary and metadata governance processes for analytical and operational datasets.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and data engineers to align delivery with business expectations.
• Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and detailed test cases in coordination with business and technical teams.
• Perform hands-on functional, regression, and data testing of new features and data pipelines.
• Coordinate UAT activities and obtain business signoffs.
• Investigate defects and data inconsistencies, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Help shape and enforce automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as a proxy to business users in testing the application.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in IT/Financial Services projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, testing methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps for managing requirements, pipelines, and test cases.
• Familiarity with Test Automation Frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Ability to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and perform functional/data testing.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate workshops and interact with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in data governance, metadata management, or analytics projects is a plus.
