Business Analyst/ Scrum Master

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst / Scrum Master to join our growing Digital team. This hybrid role demands a unique blend of business analysis expertise and agile delivery facilitation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and ensure the delivery of high-value solutions using Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit, document, and analyze business needs, user stories, and acceptance criteria through interviews, workshops, and other techniques.
• Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current business priorities.
• Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and traceability matrices to ensure clarity and alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Change & Impact Analysis: Evaluate the business impact of new requirements or changes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product Management, Solution Architects, and business users to ensure alignment between product vision and execution.
• Validation & Testing Support: Ensure that requirements are testable and support QA teams during testing phases to validate deliverables against acceptance criteria.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and PI Planning readiness.
• Team Coaching: Mentor Agile teams in Agile principles and practices, helping them to remove impediments and promote self-organization.
• Execution Monitoring: Track progress of features and capabilities, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Metrics & Reporting: Maintain Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity reports) and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive Agile maturity by facilitating Inspect & Adapt workshops and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify risks, promote built-in quality practices, and support release planning and readiness activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 4–8 years in a hybrid role involving Business Analysis and Scrum Master responsibilities.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban) frameworks and business analysis best practices.
• Tools: Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications (Preferred):

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFE Scrum Master (SSM)

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or equivalent

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
