Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Data Research Associate with a background in data mining and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in researching, gathering, and organizing data from multiple sources, along with a proven ability to present insights clearly and effectively. This is a full-time night shift role based in Kolkata, supporting our international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive web research and data mining from various public and private sources.
• Extract, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Compile data in structured formats (Excel, Google Sheets, internal databases).
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Maintain and update records, reports, and documentation as required.
• Communicate findings effectively to internal teams or clients as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data under tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data mining, internet research, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and web scraping tools (bonus if familiar with Python, SQL, or similar).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a night shift to support US/international operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, or related fields).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
• Familiarity with business data platforms like LinkedIn, Crunchbase, or ZoomInfo.
• Basic understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
