Role: Junior Business Analyst
As a
Junior Business Analyst
, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between client needs and technical solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze current business processes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Prepare artifacts such as process diagrams, use cases, and requirement documents under supervision.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate deliverables.
- Support project teams in preparing reports, presentations, and client updates.
- Monitor assigned tasks and escalate risks or issues to project leads.
- Shadow senior analysts during client workshops to build domain expertise.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fresher to 6 months of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role (internships included).
- Basic understanding of business processes, workflows, and requirements gathering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Awareness of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to tools such as JIRA, ClickUp, or process documentation tools.
- Interest or knowledge in CRM, ERP, or other business systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., entry-level business analysis training) are an added advantage.
