Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services to support global banking clients in requirement gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure the delivery of scalable, compliant, and high-quality banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·      Interact with client business stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements.

·      Analyze and document business processes and workflows related to retail, corporate, or digital banking functions.

·      Prepare BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories, Data Mapping, and Process Flows.

·      Work closely with TCS technical and QA teams to ensure accurate requirement translation and testing.

·      Conduct requirement walkthroughs, gap analysis, and feasibility studies with client and internal teams.

·      Collaborate in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project models, participate in sprint planning and grooming.

·      Assist with UAT planning, test case validation, and defect triage.

·      Contribute to TCS internal documentation standards, knowledge base, and capability building.

·      Ensure compliance with client’s regulatory and security standards (AML, KYC, GDPR, etc.).

Must-Have Skills

·      10–12 years of total experience with at least 8+ years in the Banking domain.

·      Deep understanding of one or more: Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking Platforms, Core Banking (Finacle, Flexcube, Temenos), Payments (SWIFT, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, SEPA, ISO20022).

·      Experience working in client-facing roles, preferably with international banks.

·      Strong knowledge of banking operations, risk and compliance requirements.

·      Proficiency in BRD, FRD, User Stories, and BPM tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

·      Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic SQL for data analysis.

·      Familiarity with Agile delivery model (Scrum, Kanban), and working in onshore-offshore setups.

Good to Have

·      Exposure to Banking Transformation Programs / Digital Initiatives.

·      Experience working in TCS banking accounts (e.g., Citi, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered).

·      CBAP, CCBA, or IIBA certification.

·      Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner).
