Role Overview

Branding & Marketing Advisor

category-creating brand in food tech and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Kefilo’s brand identity, positioning, and storytelling across all touchpoints.
• Guide the team in creating integrated marketing campaigns (digital, offline, influencer, and experiential).
• Build strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand reach and credibility.
• Oversee content direction, design language, and communication tone for marketing and product launches.
• Mentor the marketing and creative teams on performance marketing, brand growth, and consumer engagement.
• Support investor outreach and marketing narratives aligned with brand vision and traction.
  

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership, or creative direction, preferably in FMCG, wellness, or food tech.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, storytelling, and digital trends.
• Proven record in building or scaling brands from early-stage to market recognition.
• Exceptional communication and advisory skills, with the ability to mentor a growing team.
• Passionate about food innovation, design, and wellness-driven consumer brands.
  

Equity Setup

• Begins with 3–4 rounds of discussion to identify ownership areas.
• Followed by a 1-month NDA cohort to align on goals and collaboration.
• Then progresses to a Cofounder Agreement, and upon funding and Pvt. Ltd. registration, equity is formally allotted with a 5-year vesting period.
• Compensation starts post-funding, as we’re currently building a 25+ member founding team purely on equity.
