Job Description


We are looking for a skilled Branch Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the field. Roles and Responsibility
  • Execute defined strategies to achieve branch performance.
  • Create and maintain client relationships to meet sales forecasts.
  • Manage branch growth and profitability by staying competitive.
  • Expand and retain the company''s customer base through strong liaisons with clients and channel partners.
  • Build and develop a defined source mix comprising direct and indirect sourcing channels.
  • Facilitate new location development to penetrate new markets and increase business.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the lending process at various stages, including inquiry, application, verification, pre-sanction processing of loan, sanction, post-sanction documentation, disbursement of loan, collection, and new and existing customer service.
  • Manage post-sales customer and channel partner escalations and coordinate/supervise all key departments internally while strategizing the roadmap for lending products.
  • Monitor quality of book ensuring minimum delinquency at the branch level and support appropriate closure of stress accounts by collaborating with the collections team.
  • Optimize and closely monitor team productivity by effectively managing the team of sales managers to assure achievement of business targets and profitability of the area.
  • Collaborate effectively with departments and channel partners, lead and supervise the SM & RM team through appropriate hiring, training, reward, and recognition.
  • Ensure active distribution span of control is maintained at the branch level as per norms and ensure compliance with all Audit/NHB regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Constantly keep abreast of market trends and competitor intelligence to build and develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Establish internal controls for legal compliance and conduct periodic audits to detect non-compliance and frauds, devising actions for correction and prevention.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of markets, competition, processes, and products, providing positive feedback to the central product and policy team to stay ahead in the market.

  • Graduate with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the field.
  • Possess strong skills in core banking, sales, relationship management, credit underwriting, financial services, account opening, personal loans, mortgage loans, and housing finance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet sales targets.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Be capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and channel partners.
  • Have a strong understanding of market trends and competitor intelligence.
