Job Description

Job Summary:

The Branch Head will be responsible for managing the overall operations, profitability, and growth of the automobile branch at Bagdogra. The role involves overseeing sales, service, spare parts, customer satisfaction, and team performance to ensure smooth and efficient branch functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Operations:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the branch including Sales, Service, and Spare Parts (3S).
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets for new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Monitor service department efficiency, workshop load, and spare parts sales.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and standards.

2. Sales & Marketing:

  • Develop and execute local marketing and promotional activities.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate and retail customers.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Ensure effective display and test drive management.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction across departments.
  • Address escalated customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Promote customer retention through loyalty programs and service follow-ups.

4. Financial & Administrative:

  • Manage branch P&L, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure control over expenses and optimize profitability.
  • Oversee documentation, billing, and financial reconciliations.

5. Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and train staff across sales, service, and support functions.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / MBA preferred (specialization in Marketing or Operations).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the automobile industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership operations (Sales, Service, and Parts).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
