Job Description

Business Unit:

Team Member Canteen

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and execute daily canteen operations
Prepare shift schedules for canteen staff and ensure smooth functioning
Supervise food preparation and maintain hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
Plan daily menus and manage inventory of provisions, vegetables, milk, LPG, and housekeeping items
Maintain 5S standards in kitchen and dining areas
Update SAP system with stock and issue details
Coordinate preventive maintenance of canteen equipment and facilities
Participate in canteen committee meetings and implement action plans
Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and TPM standards
Monitor and control canteen expenses within approved budgets
Generate reports on inventory, food cost, wastage, and absenteeism
Train canteen staff on hygiene, 5S, and operational best practices

Key Skills & Competencies:

Industrial Canteen Operations & Hygiene Management
SAP & MS Office proficiency
Knowledge of 5S, TPM, QMS/IMS systems
Planning, negotiation, and execution skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
Effective communication and presentation skills

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Catering Technology or
Diploma in Hotel Management

Experience:

4 to 6 years of supervisory experience in industrial canteen operations

Work Contacts:

Internal: Security, Finance, Utilities, Time Office, QHSE
External: Vendors, Service Personnel (Pest Control, Maintenance)
