Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile all financial accounts in QuickBooks Online
• Record daily financial transactions, including deposits, expenses, and journal entries
• Review accounts payable inputs for accuracy
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial forecasting
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for audits and compliance
• Send weekly financial reports
• Manage the monthly close process, including accurate revenue and payroll cutoffs, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank fee and reserve entries
• Coordinate with management and external accountants on quarterly and year-end reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and financial regulations while meeting weekly and monthly deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of

  US bookkeeping

  or accounting experience

  (staffing industry experience preferred)

• Proficiency in

  QuickBooks Online

  and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The Nuts & Bolts

• Employment Type:

  Permanent, full-time, (paid as a contractor for tax benefits)

• Salary: $1000 - $1200 USD per month

• Location:

  100% remote, Asia

• Schedule:

  Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with 2-4 hours overlap with U.S. hours

• Paid vacation:

  PTO + U.S. federal holidays
