Ambit Tax and Accounting Services LLP is a fast-growing accounting outsourcing firm serving CPA firms and small-to-medium businesses across the United States. Our team provides end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation support tailored to US clients.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day

  bookkeeping and accounting tasks

  for US-based clients
• Manage

  bank and credit card reconciliations

• Record and classify income and expenses

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable management

• Post and match bank feeds, deposits, and journal entries

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

• Assist with clean-up projects

  and historical data adjustments
• Generate and review

  financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.)

• Communicate with US clients via email and video calls for query resolution

• Maintain data accuracy and adhere to GAAP and US accounting standards

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1–2 years of experience in US accounting and bookkeeping

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  and

  QuickBooks Desktop (QBD)

• Understanding of US accounting principles and GAAP standards

• Strong Excel skills for data management and reporting

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

• Willingness to work in US time zones (Evening/Night Shift)

• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  other US accounting software

  like Xero, Zoho Books, or NetSuite (optional)
• Familiarity with

  payroll processing and sales tax filings

  for US entities (preferred but not mandatory)
