Booking Coordinator – Nursing Recruitment

Industry: Healthcare Recruitment

Location: T- Junction, Bopal-Ambli Road, Sardar Patel Ring Road, Ahmedabad- 380058

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM Work from Office only

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years (Healthcare or staffing industry preferred)

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Booking Coordinator to join our busy nursing recruitment team.


Role Overview

As a Booking Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing shift requests from clients, coordinating candidate availability, and ensuring all bookings run smoothly. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our nurses, healthcare assistants, and support workers are scheduled efficiently while maintaining compliance and high service standards.


Key Responsibilities


Booking & Coordination

Manage incoming shift requests from NHS Trusts, care homes, and private providers.

Match available candidates to client requirements based on skills, location, and compliance status.

Confirm and allocate shifts, sending booking confirmations to both clients and candidates.

Proactively fill last-minute bookings and cover cancellations.

Maintain up-to-date records of candidate availability and shift schedules.


Candidate & Client Support

Communicate regularly with candidates regarding upcoming shifts, cancellations, and rota updates.

Provide excellent service to clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met promptly.

Escalate any issues (e.g., non-attendance, client concerns) to the recruitment/compliance team for resolution.


Compliance & Administration

Ensure only fully compliant candidates are booked onto shifts.

Work closely with the compliance team to monitor candidate status (e.g., DBS, training, right to work).

Keep accurate records in the recruitment CRM and prepare reports on bookings and candidate activity
