Role Overview

BOM Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and review

  Bills of Materials (BOMs)

  to ensure accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and hierarchy.
• Coordinate with

  Design, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams

  to resolve discrepancies.
• Support

  engineering change management (ECO/ECN)

  processes by validating updated BOMs.
• Perform

  BOM audits

  to maintain data integrity across ERP/PLM systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  
• Generate reports and trackers to support project milestones and management reviews.
  
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices for BOM management within Netweb.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering

  or equivalent.

• 2–5 years

  of experience in BOM validation, product engineering, or related domain.
• Strong knowledge of

  BOM structures, engineering drawings, and lifecycle management

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP/PLM tools

  (SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with excellent

  analytical and problem-solving skills

  .
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in

  IT hardware / server / HPC domain

  .
• Exposure to

  NPI (New Product Introduction)

  processes.
• Familiarity with

  ISO standards, RoHS, REACH compliance

  .
