Role Overview: We are looking for a qualified BMS (Building Management System) Engineer to join our team at Fire Systems Pvt Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing BMS solutions for fire protection and other electrical systems. You will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of BMS systems, ensuring their proper functionality and integration with fire safety equipment. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure seamless operation. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BMS Engineer with specialization in fire safety systems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, integration, testing, and maintenance of BMS systems, with a particular focus on fire detection, alarm, suppression, and emergency systems in compliance with national and international safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain BMS integrations with fire detection and life safety systems. Program and configure BMS to monitor and respond to fire alarms and emergency events. Ensure proper communication between BMS and fire alarm control panels, smoke control systems, and emergency shutdown systems. Conduct regular system testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance in line with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm interfaces and BMS logic. Collaborate with fire safety consultants, electrical engineers, and third-party vendors. Prepare documentation including system diagrams, commissioning reports, and compliance certificates. Ensure systems comply with local codes (e.g., NFPA, BS, IS standards) and client requirements. Support during audits, fire drills, and safety inspections. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field. 3+ years of experience working with BMS systems, including fire safety integration. Proficiency with BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls). Knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g., Notifier, Simplex, Bosch, Siemens). Familiarity with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks. Working knowledge of fire and life safety codes and standards (NFPA, IEC, etc.). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Certification in fire safety systems (e.g., NICET, NFPA training). Experience in HVAC/fire damper control via BMS. Project management exposure in construction or facility operations environments. Good communication and teamwork skills. Work Conditions: [On-site/Hybrid] work at commercial/residential/industrial facilities. May involve occasional night shifts, weekends, or emergency response calls.
