Biomedical Engineer
Location: Ultrahuman Performance Lab, Indiranagar, Bangalore
Reports to: Wellness Director

As part of our ecosystem, we are introducing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to deliver next-generation recovery and wellness experiences.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Biomedical Engineer with strong operational and technical acumen to manage the end-to-end functioning of HBOT systems at Ultrahuman. This role bridges biomedical engineering, operations, and safety management—ensuring a seamless, safe, and high-quality HBOT experience for our members, clients, and athletes.
Key Responsibilities
1) HBOT Operations & Member Experience
• Operate and monitor HBOT chambers during sessions, ensuring safety, comfort, and smooth execution.
• Coordinate with physicians, on-site staff, and recovery specialists to set treatment parameters and schedules.
• Deliver an exceptional experience aligned with Ultrahuman’s premium service standards.
2) Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
• Perform regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance checks of HBOT systems and oxygen delivery infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain equipment logs and performance records in line with biomedical standards.
3) Safety & Compliance
• Implement and monitor adherence to safety protocols per manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct routine chamber safety checks and support internal audits and safety drills.
• Help develop and update SOPs for HBOT operation, emergency response, and maintenance.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or equivalent.
Experience
• 1–3 years in biomedical device operations or hospital/healthcare engineering.
• Exposure to HBOT systems or medical gas infrastructure preferred.
Skills
• Strong understanding of oxygen systems, pressure-vessel dynamics, and biomedical safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and preventive-maintenance abilities.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Attributes
• Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) or equivalent certification.
• Experience in wellness or performance recovery environments.
• Passion for health technology, human performance, and operational excellence.
• Calm, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure.
