Role Description Role - Mechanical Engineer Role Description + Work and Responsibilities -- CAD, development, and mechanical packaging for electronic hardware to meet mechanical, thermal, and structural requirements. -- Calculations and Simulations for Mechanical stress, thermal stress etc. -- Work with PCB design and electronic design engineer to arrive at optimum design and completion of project within the timeline. -- Optimize the design based on the inputs received from various simulations, vendors, manufacturing feasibility studies etc. -- Manufacturing drawings and documents preparation -- Take responsibilities of product developed, functions and do vendor follow-ups to deliver completed part at the end as deliverable. Primary Skills -- BE in Mechanical with 6+ years experience or Mtech with 4+ years experience in Mechanical design, preferably in Mechatronics. -- Have strong Fundamentals in Mechanical design, thermal design, and mechanism design. -- Well versed with engineering drawing conventions, drawing symbols, tolerances, drafting/detailing, GD&T, assembly drawing, BOM, DFM. -- Have good experience Using Solid works and Autodesk Fusion 360. -- Have experience in finding, evaluating and interacting with vendors to take follow ups and delivering parts. -- Evaluating and fine-tuning processes to optimise yield. -- Curiosity to learn, develop and implement non-standard processes as part of R&D and bring it into production. Biomedical Engineer Location: Ultrahuman Performance Lab, Indiranagar, Bangalore Reports to: Wellness Director About Ultrahuman Ultrahuman is building the world’s most advanced health and performance platform—integrating science, technology, and design to help people optimize recovery, longevity, and everyday health. As part of our ecosystem, we are introducing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to deliver next-generation recovery and wellness experiences. Role Overview We’re looking for a Biomedical Engineer with strong operational and technical acumen to manage the end-to-end functioning of HBOT systems at Ultrahuman. This role bridges biomedical engineering, operations, and safety management—ensuring a seamless, safe, and high-quality HBOT experience for our members, clients, and athletes. Key Responsibilities 1) HBOT Operations & Member Experience • Operate and monitor HBOT chambers during sessions, ensuring safety, comfort, and smooth execution. • Coordinate with physicians, on-site staff, and recovery specialists to set treatment parameters and schedules. • Deliver an exceptional experience aligned with Ultrahuman’s premium service standards. 2) Equipment Maintenance & Reliability • Perform regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance checks of HBOT systems and oxygen delivery infrastructure. • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. • Maintain equipment logs and performance records in line with biomedical standards. 3) Safety & Compliance • Implement and monitor adherence to safety protocols per manufacturer guidelines. • Conduct routine chamber safety checks and support internal audits and safety drills. • Help develop and update SOPs for HBOT operation, emergency response, and maintenance. Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or equivalent. Experience • 1–3 years in biomedical device operations or hospital/healthcare engineering. • Exposure to HBOT systems or medical gas infrastructure preferred. Skills • Strong understanding of oxygen systems, pressure-vessel dynamics, and biomedical safety standards. • Excellent troubleshooting and preventive-maintenance abilities. • Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Attributes • Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) or equivalent certification. • Experience in wellness or performance recovery environments. • Passion for health technology, human performance, and operational excellence. • Calm, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure.
