Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bio-Medical Engineer to oversee and manage all aspects of medical equipment in our hospital facility at Alibag, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installation, maintenance, calibration, and management of biomedical equipment, with a strong background in hospital operations and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, and calibration of all biomedical and diagnostic equipment within the hospital.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards for medical devices (NABL, NABH, etc.).
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), warranty support, and procurement.
• Maintain detailed records of service reports, calibration certificates, and asset inventory.
• Conduct training sessions for clinical and technical staff on the proper use and handling of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with hospital management and clinical departments to plan new equipment acquisitions or upgrades.
• Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Handle biomedical audits and ensure readiness for accreditation inspections.
• Lead a small technical team and coordinate their day-to-day maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma , Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 4 years in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of biomedical instrumentation, diagnostic devices, imaging systems, and laboratory equipment.
• Experience in vendor coordination, budgeting, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with hospital quality standards (NABH, ISO, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
