Objective of the Role:

The Electrical BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D electrical models for construction projects. The role aims to ensureaccurate and clash-free electrical design integration within the overall BIM environment, supporting project delivery from design through construction. The modeler works closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance collaboration, improve project efficiency, and meet client specifications and industry standards.

Project Wise Core Responsibilities:

Modeling and Detailing:

• Revit-based modeling of

  Electrical

  services.
• Create

  ElectricalRevit Families

• Create and manage detailedElectrical BIM models(conduits, cable trays, lighting, power systems, panels, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy of electrical layoutsin accordance with design drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Produce Builder’s Work Drawings(BW) including slab, core wall openings.

Project Coordination & Clash Management:

• Participate in

  clash coordination

  for

  Architectural, Structural, and MEPF

  trades.
• Use

  Navisworks/BIM Track/Revizto/BIM 360

  forclash resolution and tracking.
• Coordinate with othertrades and disciplines for integrated designdelivery.
• Participate in coordination meetings and updatemodels based on clash resolution.

Documentation, Deliverable &Quality Control

• Develop

  Electricaldrawings and documentation

  across project phases.
• Extract

  shop drawings, installation drawings, and schedules

  directly from the BIM model.
• Prepare

  fabrication models, spool drawings

  , and shop drawings.
• Perform

  QA/QC checks

  formodels, families, and drawings.
• Perform regular audits of the BIM model for accuracy, compliance, and qualitystandards.
• Create and manage

  parametric Revit families

  .
• Follow industry codesand standards (e.g.,NEC, IEC) applicable to electrical systems.

Quantity Take-off & BOQ:

• Perform

  BIM-basedquantity take-offs

  forMechanical items and services.
• Support in the preparation of BOQs and procurement documentation.

Support Modeling Tasks:

• Model

  Electricalequipment supports and hanger details

  .
• Ensure Revit interfacebest practices (views,browser setup, filters,schedules, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or relatedfield.
• Autodesk Certification in Revit (preferred).
• Additional certification in BIM workflows (advantageous).

• Fully coordinated Electrical BIM models (LOD 300-500).
• Clash-free models with all coordination reports.
• Shop drawings, builderswork, spool drawingsas per project needs.
• Model-based quantity take-offreports.
