Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Team Leader to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing BIM teams and overseeing end-to-end project execution, particularly in international BIM projects across disciplines such as Architecture, Structure, and MEP.

The BIM Team Leader will be responsible for project coordination, technical leadership, quality assurance, and team development to ensure project success and alignment with global BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Execution:

• Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of BIM projects, from understanding client requirements and proposal development to final delivery.
• Ensure all project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
• Regularly monitor project milestones, performance, and team productivity using KPIs.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks and model audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and BIM standards.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of BIM Modelers, Coordinators, and Engineers.
• Allocate tasks based on expertise, manage workload balance, and ensure productivity.
• Create a positive and collaborative team environment that fosters growth and performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development initiatives for team members.

3. Technical Expertise & Coordination:

• Lead clash detection and coordination activities for architectural, structural, and MEP models using tools like Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Troubleshoot complex BIM-related technical issues, ensuring model integrity and data accuracy.
• Oversee BIM execution plans, LOD definitions, and ensure adherence to international standards such as ISO 19650 and other client-specific requirements.
• Manage and update BIM libraries, templates, and content to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Act as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are met.

4. International Project Exposure:

• Work on and manage BIM projects for international clients, ensuring cultural and code compliance.
• Understand and apply global BIM standards, regulations, and best practices to all deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant BIM experience, including leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM authoring and coordination tools.
• Strong knowledge of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, BS 1192).
• Excellent team management, communication, and client coordination skills.
• Experience working with global clients in the US, UK, Europe, or Middle East preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing priorities effectively.
