Billing Engineer

• A Billing Engineer manages the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate billing, cost control, and timely payments.
• They prepare bills of quantities, verify invoices, track expenses, and maintain detailed records of project costs. Essentially, they bridge the gap between the construction work completed and the financial transactions, ensuring everything is accounted for and within budget.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Bill Preparation: Creating and submitting accurate invoices to clients based on project milestones and work completed.
• Cost Management: Tracking project expenses, ensuring they align with the budget, and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Invoice Verification: Reviewing and verifying all billing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to billing and project costs.
• Coordination:Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for billing.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining detailed records of all billing-related activities and documentation.
