ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Skills
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Develop robust data models using Power Query (M language), DAX, and SQL.
Optimize performance of Power BI reports and datasets.
Implement row-level security, role-based access, and manage workspace deployments.
Automate report refreshes, schedule data updates, and ensure data accuracy.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of BI solutions.
Stay up to date with Power BI feature updates and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
5–8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data.
Knowledge of Power BI Service (publishing, workspaces, security, gateway setup).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power BI Certification (e.g., PL-300) is a plus.
Familiarity with other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is an added advantage.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
Collaborative team player with stakeholder management experience.
