Key Responsibilities

Report & Dashboard Development
: Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, Dundas BI, Tableau, and Cognos to support business decision-making processes.
Data Modeling
: Create and optimize data models, ensuring efficient data retrieval and visualization. Implement best practices in data modeling techniques and relational database design.
ETL Processes
: Develop and manage ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into BI tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Performance Tuning
: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, including query optimization and dashboard load times.
Collaboration
: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Documentation & Training
: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions and provide training to end-users as needed.

Must-Have Skills

BI Tools
: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Dundas BI, Tableau, and Cognos.
SQL
: Expertise in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS) for data extraction and transformation.
Data Modeling
: Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and relational database design.
ETL Processes
: Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Cloud Platforms
: Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure and AWS is a plus.
Agile/Scrum
: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Communication
: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Educational Qualifications

Degree
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
