Job Description

As a Benefits Administrator at Altus Group, you will report to the Sr. Director, Global Rewards and be responsible for administering a variety of employee benefits programs across the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Your role will involve ensuring consistency in plan administration, regulatory compliance, and data management. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Benefits Administration, Audits & Reporting: - Ensure regulatory compliance and consistency in plan administration - Partner with 3rd party benefits administrator for compliance reporting - Assist with data file preparation for open enrollment - Administer special benefit elections related to severance arrangements - Produce ad hoc reporting as needed - Annual Open Enrollment: - Support the execution of the overall project plan - Assist in developing and implementing Open Enrollment Communication plan - Participate in systems requirements, set-up, and implementation - Gather employee data and perform enrollment and compliance audits - Leave & Disability Management: - Administer day-to-day operations of leaves of absences - Process transactions in Workday in a timely manner - Advise employees, liaise with case managers, and manage communications - Communication & Administration: - Manage internal benefits email mailbox - Address employee queries via email/phone - Partner with Finance in processing benefit invoices - Assist in developing employee communication and training programs Key Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years experience in benefits administration - Knowledge of benefits, retirement & savings, and wellness programs - Understanding of Group Benefit programs in Canada, US, and UK - Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements - Strong skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Maintain confidentiality of personal and salary data Altus Group offers a high trust, high-performance culture with progressive programs for career advancement.
