Position: Base 24 Engineer We are seeking a skilled Base 24 Engineer to join our team in India. As a Base 24 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing payments systems for our clients. Your expertise in Base 24 and related technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring optimal performance. Role Responsibilities Develop and implement Base 24 applications and services. Monitor and maintain existing Base 24 systems for optimal performance. Analyze performance issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope. Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment. Perform technical troubleshooting, identifying root causes of system failures. Conduct software testing to ensure functional quality and performance standards. Create and maintain technical documentation for system changes and features. Evaluate and improve existing payment processes to enhance system efficiency. Provide support and training to junior engineers and other team members. Develop and execute SQL queries to analyze data as per requirements. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in payments processing. Create automated scripts and tools to improve development processes. Stay updated with new technologies and trends related to Base 24 and payments systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Base 24 Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in Base 24 development and customization. Strong knowledge of Java programming and development best practices. Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience with SQL and database management. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools. Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Experience with Agile software development methodologies. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Previous experience in the payments industry is a plus.
