Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision:

• Lead, schedule, and support the bar team, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

• Guest Experience:

• Maintain a welcoming, high-energy bar environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service, consistency, and hospitality.

• Menu Development & Quality Control:

• Work closely with management to update and refine the drinks menu, ensuring creativity, balance, and presentation meet The Cape Goa’s standards.

• Inventory & Cost Control:

• Oversee ordering, stock management, and bar costings to ensure profitability and minimal wastage.

• Training & Team Development:

• Mentor and train bartenders in product knowledge, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.

• Coordination:

• Liaise with the kitchen and FOH teams for seamless bar–floor service flow, especially during peak hours and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a

  Bar Manager or Senior Head Bartender

  in a busy, high-quality restaurant or resort.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar operations.

• Confident communicator and calm under pressure.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and events.
