Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to oversee bar operations.
The Bartender will be responsible for managing bar staff, ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining inventory and hygiene, and achieving beverage sales targets. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bar management, cocktails, and leadership skills to create a lively and professional bar atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.
• Manage bar staff schedules, training, and performance.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area.
• Monitor drink preparation, presentation, and service standards.
• Manage stock levels, requisitions, and prevent wastage or pilferage.
• Handle guest interactions at the bar and ensure an engaging guest experience.
• Promote and upsell premium beverages, cocktails, and special drinks.
• Ensure compliance with excise laws, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen for events and promotions.
• Prepare daily sales reports, inventory updates, and cost control summaries.
• Plan and execute bar promotions, themed nights, and events to increase sales.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in bar or lounge management.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage operations.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Experience managing a bar team and handling stock control.
• Smart, energetic, and well-groomed personality.
• Graduate or a diploma in hotel/restaurant management preferred.
• Must be organised, responsible, and focused on service quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Mixology or bartending certification.
• Experience in premium or high-volume bars/lounges.
• Creative approach to bar menu design and promotions.
