About the Role

Banquet Sales professional


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert meetings, events, and group enquiries effectively.
  • Plan and coordinate events in collaboration with clients to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Present and sell available banquet/event options to the highest standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate rates, dates, and space to achieve booking and revenue targets.
  • Identify low-demand periods and drive targeted sales efforts to maximize occupancy.
  • Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and hotel show rounds.
  • Support the development of banquet and event packages to attract new business and repeat clients.
  • Represent the venue at trade fairs and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries and bookings in the event management system.
  • Ensure regular updates of online listings, photos, and promotions on partner websites.
  • Analyze upcoming business forecasts to manage inventory and avoid over/under-booking.
  • Support management with sales reports, budgets, and performance analysis.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Hotel Management

    or related field (preferred).
  • 5–7 years

    of experience in banquet or event sales within luxury hotels, catering companies, or premium venues.
  • Strong knowledge of

    MS Office

    and

    MIS reporting

    .
