Job Title: Banquet Manager Department: Hotel Industry Location: Tajganj, Agra Reports To: General Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Banquet Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all banquet operations and events. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient event execution, and smooth coordination between staff, clients, and vendors. The Banquet Manager plays a key role in maintaining the reputation and profitability of the establishment. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of banquet events, including planning, setup, execution, and breakdown. Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and service preferences. Supervise and train banquet staff including servers, captains, and bartenders. Ensure proper setup of banquet halls according to layout plans and client specifications. Maintain high standards of hygiene, service, and presentation throughout events. Monitor food and beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Work closely with the kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance departments for seamless execution. Prepare event reports and track banquet-related expenses. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and hygiene regulations. Manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in banquet operations or hospitality management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to multitask and work under pressure during high-volume events. Knowledge of food safety and liquor licensing laws. Desired Skills: Time management and organizational skills. Eye for detail and quality control. Proficiency in MS Office or event management software. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
