Job Summary

The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing banquet events such as weddings, conferences, meetings, and social functions. The role ensures smooth coordination between clients and internal departments to deliver high-quality events and excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all banquet events from planning to execution
  • Prepare, update, and circulate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Liaise with Sales, Kitchen, Service, Engineering, and Housekeeping teams
  • Ensure proper event setup as per agreed layout, timing, and guest count
  • Supervise event execution and handle guest/client requirements
  • Coordinate manpower deployment and duty schedules for events
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, hygiene, and safety norms
  • Handle last-minute changes and resolve operational issues smoothly
  • Maintain event records, billing coordination, and feedback reports

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality
  • Minimum 1–3 years experience in banquets or F&B operations
  • Experience in hotels, resorts, or convention centres preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good knowledge of banquet layouts, service styles, and equipment
  • Client-handling and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours

  • Shift-based role
  • Requires availability during weekends, holidays, and peak event days
