Role Overview

The Banking Awareness Teacher – Banking Exams will be responsible for teaching Banking Awareness / Financial Awareness / Economy-related General Awareness in an exam-oriented manner for IBPS (PO/Clerk/RRB), SBI PO/Clerk, RBI Assistant, RBI Grade B (basic level), Insurance Exams (LIC, NIACL, etc.) and other banking exams, through live classes from our digital studio (work from office).

Is role ka main focus hai students ko Banking Awareness section mein strong banana – concepts + static banking + current banking updates + PYQs + MCQs ke through – taaki mains level tak high score aa sake.

Key Responsibilities

1. Live Teaching (Banking Awareness – Banking Exams)

• Conduct live classes (YouTube/App/Studio) for Banking Awareness / Financial Awareness for:
• IBPS PO / Clerk / RRB
• SBI PO / Clerk
• RBI Assistant, basic RBI Grade B level
• Insurance Exams – LIC AAO/ADO, NIACL, etc.
• Cover topics like:
• Basics of Banking & Indian Financial System
• Types of Banks, RBI & its functions
• NPA, CASA, Priority Sector Lending, Banking Terms
• Payment Systems (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, Cards, Wallets)
• Financial Markets, Money Market, Capital Market basics
• Important Committees, Schemes, Financial Inclusion, JAM Trinity
• Current Banking & Financial News (mergers, new products, RBI policies, etc.)
• Explain concepts in simple Hindi + necessary English terms, exam pattern ke hisaab se.

2. Exam-Oriented Content Delivery

• Teach using:
• Previous Year Questions (PYQs) of IBPS, SBI, RBI, Insurance exams
• Topic-wise MCQs (easy to mains level)
• Sectional & full-length practice sets
• Focus on:
• Most expected topics for mains
• Current banking & economy updates (last 6–8 months)
• Integration with GA + Current Affairs where relevant.
• Conduct revision sessions, mains booster batches, and marathon classes.

3. Content Creation & Academic Planning

• Prepare:
• Topic-wise class notes/handouts
• MCQ question banks for prelims + mains
• Monthly/weekly Banking Awareness capsules (static + current)
• PDF notes for students (summary + expected questions + one-liners)
• Coordinate with content team to design:
• Complete Banking Awareness modules
• Mains special Banking Awareness batches
• Practice tests & sectional mocks for banking exams.

4. Student Engagement & Doubt Solving

• Take live doubts during and after class via chat/comments.
• Conduct dedicated doubt-solving sessions for tough topics (RBI policy, money market, financial terms, etc.).
• Use polls, quizzes, rapid-fire MCQs to maintain high engagement during live classes.

5. Academic Discipline & Coordination

• Follow academic planner, timetable, and course completion deadlines strictly.
• Coordinate with Academic Head / Batch Coordinator for scheduling, extra classes, test discussions, and analysis sessions.
• Participate in faculty meetings, content reviews, and academic improvement discussions.

6. Studio & Digital Teaching Setup

• Use digital studio setup – camera, mic, digital board, PPT, screen share, etc.
• Ensure each class is properly recorded, titled, and stored in the system.
• Coordinate with technical team for smooth live streaming & technical quality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Student attendance & consistency in Banking Awareness classes.
• Student feedback & ratings for content clarity and usefulness.
• Improvement in students’ Banking Awareness scores in mocks & actual exams.
• Timely and complete coverage of syllabus and mains-focused topics.
• Quality, accuracy, and regularity of PDF notes, MCQs, and capsules.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation (any stream). Preference for:
• B.Com / BBA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Economics / Banking related background.
• Prior teaching experience in Banking Awareness / GA for banking exams preferred.
• Good understanding of:
• IBPS, SBI, RBI exam pattern (prelims + mains)
• Banking & Financial Awareness syllabus & trend.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Banking Awareness / Financial Awareness / Economy basics.
• Ability to explain complex terms (like NPA, SLR, CRR, Repo, Basel norms, etc.) in easy Hindi + simple English.
• Good presentation & communication skills in front of camera.
• Comfortable with:
• PPT-based teaching
• Creating PDFs
• Using digital pen / smart board / tablet
• Updated with latest banking & financial news, RBI notifications, schemes, mergers, etc.
• Student-friendly, motivational, and result-focused mindset.
• Punctual, disciplined, and committed to regular high-quality live classes.

Work Schedule

• Mode: Work from Office (airGurukul Studio – Greater Noida)
• Full-time, 6 days a week (1 weekly off – [Day])
• Class timings as per academic schedule; may include morning/evening mains batches.
• Extra sessions during mains season, marathons, and revision weeks may be required.
