Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Leadership & Management

• Oversee daily production of cakes, pastries, breads, savories, and specialty bakes.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and innovation across all offerings.
• Manage inventory, raw material sourcing, and ensure zero wastage.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.

Specialized Baking & Patisserie Skills

• Advanced

  fondant art, sugar craft, and cake decoration

  for custom cakes.
• Expertise in baking

  sponges, layered cakes, cheesecakes, and fusion desserts

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  viennoiserie

  including multiple types of

  croissants, danishes, and puff pastries

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Korean buns, bombolinis, donuts, muffins, and artisan breads

  .
• Ability to craft

  savory bakery items

  (quiches, tarts, rolls, sandwiches, etc.).

Innovation & Menu Development

• Introduce new recipes and seasonal specialties.
• Keep track of global bakery trends and adapt them to suit the Indian market.
• Experiment with textures, flavors, and presentations to create signature Belgstrew products.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure compliance with

  FSSAI standards, food safety, and hygiene protocols

  .
• Manage kitchen equipment and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Optimize workflow for efficiency and timely delivery.
• Be capable of managing the bakery independently, if required.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum

  5+ years of professional experience

  in bakeries, patisseries, or 5-star hotels.
• Strong foundation in

  classical baking and modern pastry techniques

  .
• Expertise in

  fondant sculpting, glazing, piping, and finishing techniques

  .
• Knowledge of

  eggless baking science

  (highly preferred).
• Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen without compromising on quality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creativity, passion, and commitment to excellence.
