Role Description:

As a Backend Developer Intern, you’ll build the robust APIs and backend systems that power Shrinex’s AI-first fintech platform. You will develop scalable services, integrate databases, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performance features.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js/Express or Java17(Springboot).

- Integrate databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for storage and retrieval of enterprise data.

- Implement authentication, security, and API documentation.

- Collaborate with frontend and AI/ML teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and cloud deployments.

Requirements:

- Good command of backend frameworks (Node.js, Express, Java with springboot).

- Understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL database concepts.

- Familiarity with REST API best practices and error handling.

- Bonus: Experience with AWS/GCP, microservices, or API security.

Qualifications

- Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field.

- GitHub/portfolio or evidence of backend projects is highly valued.

- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership in a fast-paced SaaS startup.
