Backend & DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

  Node.js + Express

  .
• Build and manage

  WebSocket-based real-time applications

  .
• Integrate and optimize

  payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.)

  .
• Implement and manage

  3rd-party API integrations

  .
• Architect, develop, and scale

  microservices-based systems

  .

• DevOps & Infrastructure

• Set up and manage

  CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps

  .
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in

  Azure Cloud

  (VMs, AKS, Functions, etc.).
• Implement

  containerization (Docker)

  and manage orchestration with

  Kubernetes

  .
• Ensure high system reliability with

  logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor)

  .
• Apply

  infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/ARM templates)

  for repeatable deployments.

• Security & Performance

• Apply best practices in

  API security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection

  .
• Optimize systems for

  scalability, high availability, and performance

  .
• Conduct

  load testing and monitoring

  to ensure system stability.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in

  Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript

  .
• Proven experience with

  WebSockets (Socket.io or native WebSockets)

  .
• Hands-on with

  payment gateway integrations

  .
• Expertise in

  Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Solid understanding of

  Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments

  .
• Experience with

  microservices architecture & API-first design

  .
• Familiarity with

  databases (SQL and NoSQL – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)

  .
• Knowledge of

  cloud infrastructure management (preferably Azure)

  .
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills):

• Knowledge of

  GraphQL

  .
• Experience with

  serverless functions (Azure Functions / AWS Lambda)

  .
• Familiarity with

  event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus)

  .
• Basic frontend knowledge (React, Next.js) to collaborate with frontend teams.
